In 2016 we travelled to China to assess the advancement of Schoemanti in the overseas market. It was stated that the mampoer was one of the best “white liquor” they have ever tasted.
In June 2017 Schoemanati received the following astounding awards and the National Mampoer Championship Competition:
- National Mampoer Champion – Dawie Schoeman
- National Witblits Champion – Boet Schoeman
- Best Traditional Medicine Trophy – Martie Schoeman
- Class Winner for the best Anise Liqueur – Martie Schoeman
- Most points in the Overall Classes Trophy – Schoemanati
- Schoemanati received 116 medals: 9 Double Gold, 26 Gold, 57 Silver and 24 Bronze
- Ossewa Prize for the best contribution towards the distilling community – Moses, employee of Schoemanati

After the competitions in 2018, Boet Schoeman decided not to compete in the National competitions any longer, but rather leave it up to his fellow Schoeman family members to step up and shine.
